Phone and QR access without email

Cleaners do not need a company email. Two routes lead into the workspace without email:

Route 1: phone number

1. The site lead assigns the person to the site (see Customers, sites and areas).
2. The person opens the workspace address, chooses Sign in with phone and enters their number.
3. They receive a 6-digit code by SMS (valid 5 minutes, maximum 5 attempts, 60 seconds between requests).
4. After entering it they choose display name and reading language — done.

Later sign-ins work the same way: number, code, in.

Route 2: assisted QR (no phone number in the system)

For people without SMS or without their own SIM:

1. Administration creates a single-use QR card for a prepared person (valid 5 minutes, exactly one use).
2. The person scans the QR with the camera — the sign-in page opens showing a verification phrase (e.g. "blue-harbor-7").
3. The site lead confirms the same verification phrase in their signed-in session. Only then is the session released.
4. No camera? The QR page offers an 8-digit one-time code to type in.

Important: scanning alone grants nothing — the release always happens through a signed-in person.

Rules and limits

• Phone numbers are per workspace: the same number can be two different accounts in two companies.
• Lost devices: administration removes access (Removing access) and starts a new invitation. On the old device access ends at the next sync.
• Number changes require the new number plus an existing sign-in, or help from administration.
• SMS costs arise per code; there are abuse limits per number, IP and workspace.
