Teams in cleaning speak many languages. HansaChat translates messages and operational texts into every employee's reading language — the original text always stays available.
Choose the reading language
- When first signing in without email the reading language is asked; later anytime under Settings → Cleaning.
- The reading language is not the interface language. Somebody operating the app in German can read messages in Bulgarian — and the other way round.
How translation works
- Incoming messages appear in the original immediately; the translation loads afterwards.
- One tap on Show original switches back and forth.
- Translations are created per message and version — once per language, not per person. That is why they cost the same for 200 readers as for 3.
- Mentions, numbers, links and formatting are preserved. Chemical names, dosages and room codes are deliberately left unchanged — when in doubt, always check the original.
Operational texts
Site instructions, checklist steps and issue descriptions can also be translated into the reading language. A translated instruction never changes the state of a checklist — it is a reading aid.
Limits and costs
- Automatic translation is an aid, not a guarantee. Always cross-check safety-relevant instructions against the original.
- The workspace has a monthly character allowance. When exhausted or during an outage, messages simply appear in the original — chat keeps working.
