Manage notifications

HansaChat can notify you about new activity through the browser, desktop app, or mobile app.

Workspace notification context

Browser notifications

When your browser asks for notification permission, choose Allow if you want HansaChat to show desktop notifications while the web app is open.

If notifications are blocked, open your browser's site settings and allow notifications for your HansaChat workspace domain.

Desktop and mobile notifications

For desktop and mobile apps, check your operating system notification settings:

  • macOS: System Settings → Notifications.
  • Windows: Settings → System → Notifications.
  • iOS: Settings → Notifications.
  • Android: Settings → Notifications.

If notifications do not arrive

Make sure you are signed in, the app is allowed to send notifications, and the device is not in Do Not Disturb or Focus mode. If the problem continues, contact support at igor@hansa.chat.
