Send and edit messages

Use the message composer at the bottom of a channel to write and send messages.

Send a message

1. Open a channel.
2. Type your message in the composer.
3. Press Enter or select Send message.

After sending, the message appears in the channel timeline.

Edit a message

1. Find your message in the timeline.
2. Select Edit message.
3. Update the text.
4. Select Update message or press Enter.

Use Esc or Cancel if you decide not to save the edit.
